VEWH submission on the draft Murray-Darling Basin plan

The VEWH’s submission on the draft Murray-Darling Basin Plan (MDBP) is now available for download.The submission focuses on the potential implications or uncertainties of the proposed Murray-Darling Basin Plan (MDBP) for the VEWH. As such, it deals mainly with the environmental watering plan outlined in Chapter 7 of the draft MDBP.
The VEWH is of the view that it is the responsibility of all environmental water managers, in managing water for a public good, to do so in an efficient and accountable manner which maximises environmental outcomes.
